Hi! My name is Scout Smith, I am 5'2," based in Salt Lake City, and writing this is so much easier than a full body slate! I am an actor/singer/writer born in Southern California, raised in Utah County, and now bouncing back and forth between NY, LA, and my home base in Utah. I'll always be a theater gal at heart, having acted professionally on stage for over ten years before finding my love for film. Some favorite past roles include Eponine in Les Miserables, Jerusha Abbott in Daddy Long Legs, Millie Dilmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Little Red in Into the Woods, Marianne Dashwood in Sense and Sensibility, Jo March in Little Women and Ellie Blake in the regional premiere of Freaky Friday. Favorite TV/Film credits include High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Yellowstone, Freelancers, The Loved and Lost, A Fiancé For Christmas, Joe Bell, and Tokyo Cowboy. I love being on set more than anything, but when I'm not working, I love to write, travel, scuba dive, watch old episodes of I Love Lucy and/or The Twilight Zone, go to concerts, puzzle, make a craft, but mostly I love love love being married to my crush/best friend/soulmate and being a mom to our four hilarious and wonderful kids.
